The breast feeder needs to dress in a way that allows them to access their breasts easily. My favorite is the “two shirt method.” Go online and buy a pack of spaghetti strap tank tops. It’s ok if these aren’t super high quality, but they should be stretchy. Layer as follows: nursing bra, stretchy spaghetti tank, any other shirt of any kind (you’ll get less coverage with a button-down, but this still works.). Most importantly, she should wear comfortable nightgowns.

In terms of accessories, a teething necklace makes an excellent toy for Baby to play with, and often these silicon or wooden necklaces are surprisingly fun.

If the woman is pumping, add a hands-free bra, an insulated lunch bag, and maybe a warm shawl or scarf for warmth.

Know More On The Fact

I nursed both my children, 40+ yrs ago when it was less common, but I always found it easy to be discrete. I wore two-piece outfits — pants or skirt & a top. The key is to introduce the breast from under the shirt. The baby’s body lies across any gap that may occur in the stomach. I’m telling you that almost no one knew I was nursing. At my son’s Christening, an old Italian man was talking & sitting on a loveseat for 10 minutes while I nursed. He almost died of embarrassment when he pulled the baby towards him so he could see his face! He got up & ran into another room he was so surprised.

This particular child fussy for the first three months, so I got good at nursing everywhere. My claim to fame was nursing him as I walked down Park Ave. I loosened baby carrier, so he was breast height & we nursed under my coat as I walked. I was Proud of both of us. It was too cold to find a bench & stop walking.

The only accessory is a nursing bra which should b purchased after the birth & w the advice of currently nursing mothers.

Few Important Maternity Wears And Nightgowns

Nursing Bras

Nursing bras have special hooks, snaps, and clips that allow part of the bra’s fabric to fold down without affecting its support structures. Besides, they lack an underwire, unlike the ordinary bras, making them feel more comfortable. Instead, they have cotton underlining that reduces the sensitivity resulting from the friction against the rough fabrics.

Tank-Top Under Clothes

A top-tank under clothing will relieve you from opening, lifting, pulling aside, or unbuttoning your shirt when breastfeeding your baby. A tank top with a lower neckline or even wide arm openings will give you a better feeling of coverage and fulfill your needs. When you lift or unbutton the top layer, your abdomen and half of your neckline will remain covered.

Button-Down Shirts

With the button-down shirts, you can easily access your breasts by unbuttoning the shirt and breastfeed your baby when the need arises. You only need to undo the upper buttons and leave the lower pins to feel more comfortable and secure. It’s a perfect choice for working moms as they look professional, and you can put them on more quickly.

Crossover Tops

Crossover tops are also great breastfeeding clothes for nursing moms. Crossover tops have crisscrossed V-neck that you can easily pull aside when breastfeeding your baby. They are a better alternative to T-shirts.
